Chaos Lord of Khorne on Juggernaut--Someday Lady You'll Accomp'ny Me

Wait a minute, I know what you're thinking--Fucking Bob Seger? Someday Lady You'll Accomp'ny Me? What in Sam Hill is he up to this time? Chaos Lord of Khorne on Juggernaut? Can he possibly tie it all together?

Probably not, but let's give it a try anyway...

Let me just put this out here first...IF YOU DON'T FEEL SOME SORT OF EMOTION WHEN YOU HEAR THE SWEET, SWEET PIPES OF BOB SEGER THEN YOU SIR ARE A COMMIE FASCIST PIG THAT WILL SPEND ETERNITY STRUNG UP NAKED LISTENING TO JUSTIN BIEBER AND BEING PELTED WITH DEEP FRIED GERBILS THAT EXPLODE ON CONTACT AND SHOWER YOU WITH RED HOT GORE.

Now that that's out of the way...
First song, then model...

Any red blooded American man with half a dick has had this damn brilliant song stuck in his head at some point when either rejected by a woman or in the throes of love.

Us 40K enthusiasts sometimes feel the same way about a classic model....
Chaos Lord of Khorne on Juggernaut...

Flaatus, Lord, born from chugging kumquats...

Emboss a gourd sworn to slugging polyglots...

Dross swords born for buggering nuts...

Take the above dude, for example. I shit you not, it was love at first sight. I'm positive my love of this model has something to do with staring at Frazetta's Death Dealer for hours as a kid. Goddam I worshipped that guy's art for a large portion of my childhood years.

Unfortunately, the second I realized this cool model existed was also around the time Finecrap came into existence. I wanted it in metal...And I was also a tad hesitant. I mean, I was working on a Nurgle army, so Khorne at the time seemed ridiculous. But in the back of my mind the idea started to take hold, to simmer...Yes, a Khorne army, and at the helm will be a mighty lord...

Yes, I said, self, someday I will own that friggin' model, in metal, and I will name him George and I will paint him, and love him, and convert him.

Sometimes jealousy can override reason. I had completely put the damn model on the backburner in my brain when one day at Evil Dice I saw some scrub pulling it out of his case. The model was unpainted, in rough shape, but metal and still looking damn fine. The kid told me he found the model on ebay for a song. I remember thinking to myself, If this rat faced son of a bitch can own this amazing model, in metal no less, well then so can I godammit. So the instant I arrived back home I found one and ended up paying around $50 bucks for it all said and done.

It sat in a safe place where I looked at every so often...And a few years later...I painted it...

I finished this guy just a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty happy with it. The hellblade, of course, doesn't come standard and I always equip with an Axe of Khorne which is a specialist weapon, but I think the hellblade just looks neato.

The sword arm is a little cock-eyed and I may replace it with an axe in the future, but at the right angle you can hardly tell its crooked. The head and deformed arm are from that discontinued fantasy kit I can't remember the name of and the horns are from a bloodletter.

All said and done the Chaos Lord of Khorne on a Juggernaut is one of the finest CC dudes in the games. With the blood forged armor, he's got eternal warrior and FNP. I also give him a 4++, melta bombs, and a collar of Khorne. This all puts him at about 245 points. Well worth it.

This guy is heavy. He's all metal and attitude, sort of like the head of a daemonic biker gang.

Anyway...What happens after the damn song, Bob? What's the sequel? You told us that someday that lady would accompany you...So did she? Did she go from someday to maybe, and a little hands down the pants into the muff and  a little bang bang to maybe a "What's that you say honey?" and OH MY GOD SHUT UP AND JUST LET ME PAINT MY MANS I'VE HAD A LONG DAY AND NEED TO UNWIND...

  2. Hey thanks man. I use the Dicken Technique in the hell blades. It's a variation of the Dicken Reaction--An infamous science term. Anyway, I may do a painthammer on it in the future. Thanks for tuning into the blog.
